Man taken to hospital after Ballymena assault

A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries after an attack in Co Antrim in the early hours of this morning.

The victim who was assaulted in Albert Place, Ballymena, is not believed to be in a life threatening condition, police have said.

Detectives appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
