Men held over McDaid murder
TWO men have been arrested in connection with sectarian violence in Coleraine.
The arrests of the 28-year-old and the 30-year-old both took place in the Co Londonderry town on Wednesday morning.
Their detention is in relation to the murder of community worker Kevin McDaid and the attempted murder of Damien Fleming last month.
Mr McDaid - a community worker - died after being attacked by a loyalist mob in a row over the erection of flags.
A police spokesperson said both men were "assisting police with their inquiries".
A total of 23 people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Nine men have so far been charged.
