Titanic bus tours take to the road

The Titanic Explorer is a ground breaking themed bus tour and a collaboration between the leading tour companies in the city  Titanic Walking Tours and Belfast City Sightseeing. The hop on / hop off tour is led by character guides who bring to life the heyday of industrial Belfast and the story of the fateful RMS Titanic. 

 

Starting from the City Centre and concluding at the at Thompson Dry-Dock in the Northern Ireland Science Park, passengers on the Titanic Explorer tour can experience the full spectrum of Northern Irelands maritime history with hop on /hop off points at any of the historical attractions along the way including H&W Drawing Offices, SS Nomadic and the new Titanic Belfast visitor attraction due to open on 31st March 2012.

TITANIC fever will be cranked up another notch in Belfast tomorrow with the launch of a new tour complete with guides dressed as characters from the early 1900s.

The Titanic Explorer – billed as a ground-breaking themed bus tour – is a collaboration between the leading tour companies in the city, Titanic Walking Tours and Belfast City Sightseeing.

Starting from the city centre and concluding at Thompson Dry Dock in the NI Science Park, passengers will experience the full spectrum of the city’s maritime history with hop-on, hop-off points at any of the historical attractions along the way. This will include the H&W drawing offices, SS Nomadic and the new Titanic Belfast visitor attraction due to open on March 31.

The Titanic Explorer will also be used by schools to develop pupils’ knowledge of shipbuilding and engineering.

Regular tours begin in early February and will operate seven days a week from Castle Place.
