Wedding bells for Fame Academy star
Irvinestown songbird Sinead Quinn, who shot to stardom by taking part in the reality television programme Fame Academy, tied the knot with boyfriend Paul Stewart in her home town at the weekend.
Paul is drummer with popular band The Feeling. The couple got engaged last year.
They were wed at The Sacred Heart Church in Irvinestown in the company of Sinead's parents, Gerry and Philomena, family members, friends and a host of friends from the world of music including Sophie Ellis Bextor, band members from The Feeling, and fellow Fame Academy star Malachi Cush.
Local people from Irvinestown and well-wishers turned out to watch the former Lady of the Lake as the bride turned up to take her vows with her new husband.
The couple's wedding reception took place at Markree Castle in Sligo. The singer is expected in Nashville next year to work with a key music industry producer, and will support Lulu on tour.
