YOUR VIEWS: Should unionists support justice move?

SHARE your views on the justice debate through an interactive web chat.

Unionism at Stormont is divided over the devolution of policing and justice.

Although the Northern Ireland Assembly yesterday voted to allow a locally appointed Justice Minister to be appointed next month, the cracks within the wider unionist family were apparent.

While all 34 DUP MLAs present voted for the motion, the Ulster Unionists voted against.

WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS?

Are the UUP correct in taking their stand?

Should they have weighed in behind the DUP?

Does unionism have anything to fear from the transfer of justice powers from Westminster?

Is the Executive politically mature enough to deal with such a sensitive issue?
