Brookvent heats up global markets with new range

A Dunmurry based pioneer in the field of energy saving ventilation systems is set to take on global leaders with the unveiling of its latest product.

Aircycle 3.1 is the latest development from Brookvent , hailed as a best in class product with unrivalled performance and capable of accelerating the firms global reach.

Speaking at the launch Enterprise Minister Jonathan Bell praised the company’s foresight and determination.

“Brookvent has a long history of new product development and the launch of its reinforces their culture of innovation and commitment to excellence,” he said.

“Brookvent is an excellent example of what Northern Ireland design and manufacture has to offer in a global marketplace.”

“The new product has the potential to open new doors for this innovative manufacturer across Great Britain, Europe and beyond.”

The firm t has been manufacturing and supplying energy saving ventilation systems to residential construction sectors in the UK and Republic of lreland since 1984.

It presently exports worldwide to Europe, China and New Zealand. The aircycle 3.1, is the latest addition to their award winning heat recovery ventilation system range and has a ‘best in class’ power consumption rating.

“I am always pleased to hear about how local companies have benefited from Invest Northern Ireland support,” added Mr Bell.

“In this case, Brookvent accessed an R&D grant of £49,438 as well as £675,000 from the Growth Loan Fund, to undertake product development and fund other growth opportunities.

Commenting on the launch of the aircycle 3.1, Brookvent managing director Declan Gormley said: “Brookvent has developed a best in class product with unrivalled performance, beating major players to the punch, and setting a new industry standard in heat recovery efficiency.

“An extremely low specific fan power means a higher cost saving for the end user. With this higher performance specification, Brookvent can continue to service existing domestic and export markets as well as develop new markets further afield.”

Finance for the £50m Growth Loan Fund, which provides loans to established Northern Ireland SMEs seeking to access growth finance, has been provided by Invest NI and private investor, Northern Ireland Local Government Officers’ Superannuation Committee.
