Arrests after East Belfast attempted distraction burglary

The incident happened in the Clarawood Park area of the city when two men gained entry to the property by offering to provide a power-washing service.

Two men - aged 17-years and 51-years - were arrested a short time later on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.

Detective Inspector Mary White is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that will assist with the investigation to contact Detectives in Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
