The incident at the Dundrod Road exit was reported shortly before midday leading to traffic being diverted along the A26 Moira Road and the Ballydonaghy Road.

A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said that a crew was tasked to the scene and one person was taken to Antrim Areas Hospital for treatment.

The extent of their injuries is not known, although they are not believed to be serious.

Hundreds of jars of marmalade, jam and peanut butter were strewn across the roundabout as a result of the accident.

The articulated lorry was able to be lifted back onto its wheels by a local recovery firm and towed away from the scene.

A JCB-type digger was then used to clear the road of the debris.

The road eventually reopened at around 5pm.
