Man, 55, released on bail in Belfast house fire inquiry

A 55-year-old man has been released on police bail pending further inquiries following a deliberate house fire in Glencairn Crescent in north Belfast yesterday.

Police said the blaze was started deliberately inside the property on Glencairn Crescent in north Belfast at about 6.30pm on Saturday.

The house, which was empty at the time, was completely gutted.

Detectives have appealed for witnesses.
