Man arrested after suspicious death of woman (36)

A 62-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the unexplained death of a woman in Co Londonderry in the early hours of this morning.

The woman, aged 36, died at a house on Glenshane Road in Claudy.

Her death was reported to police at around 4.30am.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Harvey said: “The death is unexplained and is being treated as suspicious at present. A post mortem examination will be required to establish the cause of death.
