Man arrested in connection with Dan Murray murder

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of takeaway delivery driver Dan Murray in west Belfast.

Mr Murray died after he was shot while making a delivery on Lady Street, near the Grosvenor Road, on Monday.

Police said they believed the 55-year-old had been lured to the area by a bogus call, and they described his murder as “horrific”.

The 38-year-old man was arrested in west Belfast on Wednesday night.

He is currently in custody at Musgrave Police Station.”
