Man released in Ardoyne murder probe

Police investigating the murder of Michael McGibbon in the Ardoyne area of Belfast have released a 34-year-old man, pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The suspect was arrested earlier today as part of the probe into the murder of Mr McGibbon. The taxi driver and father-of-four died after being shot three times in the leg in Butler Place, Ardoyne, on 15 April.

The suspect was arrested at an address in Belfast today and was taken into custody at Musgrave Police Station before being released.
