A drug dealer who is awaiting tests on a suspected cancerous tumour was allowed to walk free yesterday after his two-year jail term was suspended for three years. In August 2012, a police search of Alexander Robinson’s car found heroin with a street value of under £150.

Deputy Recorder Judge Corrine Philpott QC yesterday told the 53-year-old, from Killaney Avenue, Lisburn, his involvement was at a “very low level indeed in drug distribution”.
