Two men are due to appear in court on Friday in connection with disruption in Larne last weekend.
The men, aged 24 and 30, face charges of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
Police said the charges are in relation to an incident in the town on Saturday March 29, after which three people were taken to hospital.
A PSNI spokesman said police believe that incident is related to the following night’s events during which a crowd of between 60 and 100 people converged on Larne and attacked police, property, cars and some local residents.
A police officer and local resident were taken to hospital with injuries as a result of the trouble.
The arrested men are due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’s Court on Friday.
