Pair threatened with suspected firearm in Dungannon

It happened in the Circular Road area of Dungannon on Friday at about 10pm, when two men forced their way into a house.

They then fled with money and jewellery.

“The man and woman were left very badly shaken,” said police.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Detectives at Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1441 22/07/16.

“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
