Police charge man over dissident parade
A man has been charged in connection with the illegal dissident republican parade which took place in north Lurgan on Saturday, with nine released on bail and another two freed unconditionally.
The man was charged with taking part in an unnotified parade in the town’s nationalist Kilwilkie estate.
A total of 12 people were arrested as they left Lurgan following the parade.
A masked colour party was among a crowd of men and women who attended the opening of a memorial garden, created to mark 1916 Easter Rising rebel Edward Costello.
