Teenage girl in hospital after collision in Lurgan

The collision happened around 9.40pm last night (Friday, July 29).

Sergeant Mel Gibson said; “Lake Street was closed for several hours overnight while officers investigated the collision involving a car and a pedestrian. The 16 year old female pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the car prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.

“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact Police at Lurgan on 101 quoting Reference number 1310 29/07/16.”
