In a statement, Campbell described Mark, who was in his 40s, as being “passionate” about his role at the school.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of our colleague and friend, Mr Mark Yetman,” it said.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Mark has been a central and core part of the Campbell community for many years. His work in ICT has changed the way in which we have dealt with teaching and learning, in both the senior and junior schools. He was passionate about his role within CCF and gave of his time and energy for the betterment of this organisation so that the boys would have the best experience possible. He will be sorely missed by all of us.”

Alistair Bushe, editor of the News Letter, said: “Mark’s sudden death has come as a shock, he is fondly remembered as a popular, talented and hard-working member of staff.”

Mark, who was a passionate Portsmouth football supporter, is survived by wife Nuala, daughter Jessica, parents Barrie and Lyla, brother Steven and sister Joann.
