Vandals add to wall graffiti

Vandals have returned to add to graffiti daubed on a wall in Limavady.

The words ‘Touts Need Shoot?’ (sic) appeared on the side of a property in Glenlea Park on Tuesday morning.

Yesterday morning, the graffiti was added to, with the message now reading ‘Touts Need A Fruit Shoot’.

Local SDLP councillor Gerry Mullan said: “Not only is the sentiment ridiculous, but the grammar is appalling. It indicates that either the perpetrator is very young and cannot spell, or they are not very smart.”

Cllr Mullan added: “It is mindless vandalism and it sums up the mentality of those who did it.”

Police say they are investigating the matter.
