Westlink crash causes traffic chaos for morning motorists

A PSNI spokesman said police attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car on the countrybound lane of the Westlink.

He said the collision occurred just before the Kennedy Way turn off.

The crash meant long delays for motorists heading to Broadway in the city.

Meanwhile it has been reported that traffic queues were also caused towards the M2 as drivers slow down while they pass the scene of the crash.
