Woman sustains serious head injury in quad bike collision

A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a single quad bike in Co Fermanagh.

It’s understood the Kawasaki KLF 300 overturned on the Liscreevin Road in Lisnarick around 11.25am.

Inspector Robert McGowan said: “The woman has sustained a serious head injury and is currently undergoing treatment. Her condition is believed to be serious.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the quad travelling on the road prior to the time of the report is asked to contact police on 101.”

A PSNI spokesman added that the road is likely to remain closed for several hours.
