Police in Enniskillen have revealed that a man in his 70s died following a one vehicle collision on Gardiners Cross Road in Tempo yesterday.
The man had been the driver of a white Suzuki Celerio car which left the road and struck a tree shortly after midday.
He was taken to hospital where he passed away a short time later.
Two passengers were taken to hospital and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for a number of hours but has since re-opened.
Inspector Keir Kitt has appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police in Enniskillen or the Collision Investigation Unit in Sprucefield on the non-emergency number 101.
A PSNI spokesman said a post mortem examination will be carried out on the road victim in due course.
