Police hunt men who held down and robbed elderly Belfast woman

Detectives are hunting two men involved in a burglary at a house in north Belfast today.

Police said two men called to the door of an elderly woman in the Mountainhill Walk area just before midday and pushed past her to gain entry to the house. One of the men then held the woman down whilst the other searched a bedroom and took her purse containing a small sum of money.

The men then left the area along the Ligoniel Road in the direction of Nutts Corner in a black coloured Vauxhall Vectra. The woman was not physically injured but was left badly shaken following the incident.
