POLICE are treating as “suspicious” the sudden death of a 41-year-old man in a flat at Hartfield Avenue in the Redmanville estate in Portadown.
The death was reported on Wednesday morning, and the flat in which the man died is just 50 yards from the scene of two killings over the past 15 months.
Richhill man Marc Williamson (21) was stabbed to death in August last year in a flat virtually next door, and Belfast man Michael Stitt (26) died as the result of brain injuries sustained in an alleged assault in September this year, in another flat at nearby Westland Road.
