On behalf of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, I write on the occasion of Your Majesty’s 90th birthday, offering the greetings of the General Assembly and our warmest congratulations.

It would be a considerable understatement to say much has happened and much has changed in those 90 years – yet for nearly three-quarters of that time, as Queen, and with The Duke of Edinburgh by your side, Your Majesty has remained a constant in our time.

As a Church we would humbly express our deep gratitude for Your Majesty’s devoted service throughout those years, both to our nation and ultimately to the One who is King of Kings. May you know His blessing in a special way at this joyous time.

Yours in Christ’s Service,

Rt. Rev. Dr. Ian McNie, Moderator, General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland
