Protestors gathered outside a north Belfast police station tonight in what is understood to be an outpouring of support for loyalist bandsmen.

Northern Ireland and Union Flags were on display as scores of demonstrators flocked to Tennant Street PSNI station off the Shankill Road during the evening – including Willie Frazer.

The PSNI said the protest had been peaceful.

It had spoken to a number of people about a possible breach of a Parades Commission ruling earlier in the year.
