Ian, a Ballymena man born and bred, was well known in local lambeg drumming circles and was a longtime supporter of Glasgow Rangers where he was a regular attender at matches throughout his life.

He had a lengthy connection with local marching bands stretching back to his involvement as a founder member of the now defunct Harryville Sons of Ulster and in later years with well known Ballymena oufit, Pride of the Maine.

Members of the drumming fraternity across Co. Antrim and further afield have been paying their own tributes to Mr. Pedlow on social media.
