Bangor was ‘piping hot’ on Saturday during an Ulster-Scots Day at the Town Hall.

Among the many activites on offer from North Down Borough Council in conjunction with The Ulster-Scots Agency was a full programme of Ulster-Scots music and activities with the highlight of the day, a performance from the world-renowned Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

The event also included live music from The Broken String Band and Chanter, soda bread making, linen spinning demonstrations, re-enactors and talks on the Ulster –Scots.
