THERE’S been another big National Lottery win in Northern Ireland - this time for almost a third of a million pounds.
It follows a public appeal for the winner to come forward and collect the EuroMillions prize of £332,649.70p in the draw on Friday, July 6.
The successful claim in County Armagh comes after Ballymena couple Paddy and Gail Millar publicly celebrated a whopping win of £1,994,322.90p on the EuroMillions draw last Friday.
The Co Armagh winner has “not opted to take full publicity” so no further information can be released.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win.
“It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-changing amount of money.
“We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play.”
Meanwhile a Lotto ticket worth over £4 million pounds and bought in Co Down remains unclaimed despite public appeals.
It was for the draw on Saturday, June, 2 and hit the jackpot of £4,392,003. The winning numbers are 16, 18, 20, 25, 29, 34 and the bonus ball is 15. The deadline for claiming the prize is 29 November, 2012.
