Police are appealing for information over an armed robbery in east Belfast.
The robbery happened at business premises at the Albertbridge Road area on Sunday night.
The PSNI said that shortly before 9.25pm, it was reported that a male entered a petrol station in the area armed with a knife.
“It is believed the man threatened a male and female member of staff during the incident, but no one was injured. The man made off with a sum of money,” a PSNI statement said.
“The male is described as wearing a grey tracksuit with white / bright drawstrings. It is believed the male had his hood pulled up over his face during the incident. He is believed to be in his early to mid 20’s, dark haired, of slim build and approximately 5’6” tall.”
Enquiries are continuing, police said.
