The Royal Black Institution will hold parades in six locations on “Black Saturday”, which this year falls on August 30.
An estimated 17,000 members from roughly 370 preceptories will demonstrate in Rathfriland, Armagh, Londonderry, Ballyclare, Larne and Donemana.
The biggest parade will be in Rathfriland, where 80 bands will be on the march.
A religious service will be held in the village at 2.45pm, conducted by Pastor Roy Graham. Ivan Kelly, Assistant Sovereign Grand Master, will speak.
A special attraction at Rathfriland will be a Children’s Choir from Uganda, east Africa, which will take part in the parade while wearing in traditional costume.
