A suspicious object is now being examined in East Belfast only hours after an earlier alert dispaced people from their homes in north Belfast.

Earlier army bomb dispoal experts were called out after suspicious objects were found at North Queen Street in Belfast and on the Shore Road, Newtownabbey.
A number of homes were evacuated due to the Belfast alert and North Queen Street community centre has been made available for affected residents
A PSNI spokesman said the north Belfast alert is now over and the road has reopened.
