Consultation launched on Human Trafficking proposals

Justice Minister David Ford has launched a consultation on further proposals to tackle human trafficking and slavery in Northern Ireland, in light of recent Home Office proposals.

Mr Ford said: “Human trafficking and slavery are appalling, degrading crimes which devastate the lives of victims and their families.

“I would encourage all those with an interest in tackling these heinous crimes to respond to the consultation.”

The consultation runs until April 15. Visit www.dojni.gov.uk for more information.
