Count begins to decide NI’s Euro representatives

The final stage of counting for last week’s election has now begun in the King’s Hall.

With council ballots all tallied up over the weekend, work is currently underway on totting up the votes for the Province’s European candidates.

The cavernous space of the hall is filled with rows of staff sorting ballot papers, with results are not expected to be known for a number of hours.
