Crash in Belfast sees trio taken to hospital

Three people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash this morning.

A 48-year-old man and two women in their late 20s were taken to hospital after the crash at the junction between Roden Street and Donegall Road, the latter being a main route from south to west Belfast.

Their injuries were not life-threatening.

At about 7.50am, police announceed the junction had been closed, By 9.25am it was open again.

Traffic in Belfast was very slow during the morning in the city.
