Foo Fighters rock Tennents Vital

Not heavy rain, nor thunder storms could dampen the enthusiasm of so-called Foo-fans as the US rock stars made their Ulster debut as part of the Tennents Vital festival.

Up to 30,000 music fans are thought to have flooded into the venue at Boucher Road fields to see the Foo Fighters headline the event.

Popular US rock duo The Black Keys also played, as well as English indie band The Cribs, Irish band The Minutes and local hard rock band Trucker Diablo.

However the main excitement at Boucher Road yesterday was for the Foo Fighters, known for their loud rock music and did not disappoint fans,
