A man who died in a motorcycle crash in Belfast on Thursday night was Norman Long.
Mr Long, 42, was from east Belfast and died in the one vehicle crash at Orangefield Grove.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed a motorcycle in the area at approximately 5.30pm, or anyone who may have any information about this incident, to contact them at Strandtown Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
It is the third death on Northern Ireland’s roads this week.
Motorcyclist Jonny Buckley from Dunadry died in a car accident in Ballyclare on Monday night.
Twenty-year-old Aaron Ellis from Carrickfergus died in a motobike accident on his way to work on Wednesday.
Alliance East Belfast Councillor Maire Hendron expressed her shock and sadness at latest death.
“It is always sad when someone loses their life on the road,” she said. “I would like to extend my sympathies to the friends and family of the man involved.”
