A 23-year-old man is expected to appear in Enniskillen Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent.
The charges are believed to be related to two stabbing incidents in the Cookstown area in the early hours of September 28.
Earlier a PSNI spokesman said eight men had been arrested in connection with stabbing incidents in Co Tyrone.
The spokesman said the men aged between 17 and 30 were detained on suspicion of attempted murder and a range of other offences including aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm with intent.
One victim who is in his 20s was stabbed in the head during an incident at William Street, Cookstown, at about 2.30am.
An hour later, a second man also aged in his 20s, suffered multiple puncture wounds to his body after being attacked in the Millburn Street and Moneymore Road area.
Both victims were taken to hospital for emergency treatment but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening and one has since been discharged.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) believe the two attacks could be linked.
Detectives have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed disturbances at either location to come forward.
