A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Co Antrim.
Jonny Buckley was the driver of the BMW car when the incident happened on the Braepark Road in Ballyclare on Monday evening.
The passenger, William Kerr, suffered a number of injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road re-opened on Tuesday afternoon.
Tributes were paid to the Jonny, who rode under the number 222, on Twitter. His death described as a “terrible loss to the Motorsport paddock”.
One person tweeted: “Shocked at the news of Jonny Buckley, so, so sad. Thoughts go out to his family and friends at this time. RIP.”
Another fan said: “Very saddened to hear of the death of Jonny Buckley, excellent rider and an all round nice guy. Thoughts with his family, Rest in peace.”
Newtwonabbey car retailers Nick Bonar Cars tweeted: “We are saddened with the passing of Jonny Buckley. Such a lovely guy and very talented on a motorcycle.”
