Murder investigation: deceased is named

A woman whose death is now the centre of a murder probe has been named.

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch launched their investigation following the death of Denise Dunlop in Ballymena earlier today.

Her age had initially been given as 28 by police, but she was in fact 32.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and has been taken to Ballymena PSNI station for questioning.

The incident happened at a house in the Centuripe Avenue area of the north Antrim town in the early hours of this morning [June 15].
