The Queen's baton for the Commonwealth Games arrived at Stormont on Tuesday.

The Queen’s baton for the Commonwealth Games has arrived in Northern Ireland.

On Tuesday it was presented to Northern Ireland’s First Minister, Peter Robinson MLA and deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness MLA by Dame Mary Peters.

Also pictured above are Chris Jenkins, Chief Executive, Commonwealth Games and Robert McVeigh, Chairman of Commonwealth Games NI.

The baton will travel to various parts of the province over the next four days.
