The Twelfth: Belfast return march

Waiting for Video...

Crowds enjoyed the Belfast Orange return march from the Field.

Despite intermittent rain, there was a boisterous spirit as the many lodges returned down the Lisburn Road and passed through a packed Shaftesbury Square.

Progress was slow as cheering supporters danced alongside the parades.

The lodges and bands often had to stop.

It was around 8pm when the last of the procession reached the centre of Belfast.
