The Twelfth: Some Belfast spectators were out early

More than two hours before the Belfast parade was due to pass, some spectators were already lining the route.

By 9am on the Lisburn Road, a number of people were sitting in deckchairs ahead of the Orange march, which goes from Carlisle Circus in north Belfast to the Field in Barnetts Demense, via the city centre.

By 10am, when the parade was leaving Carlisle Circus, the crowds in parts of Royal Avenue were several people deep.
