A MAN in his 70s has required hospital treatment after being attacked in his Ballyclare home by three assailants.
Shortly before 6.25pm on Tuesday night three males, two carrying wooden sticks, forced their way into the victim’s house on the Ballyrobert Road.
The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The three assailants are described as being in their late teens or early 20s. They are believed to have made off in the direction of Corr’s Corner.
