More than 150 mourners yesterday attended the funeral of tragic twin Diarmuid Frazer – one week after he was knocked down by a car as he crossed a street in Lisburn.

The funeral Mass was held in St Peter’s Church, The Rock, Stoneyford with interment afterwards in Blaris Cemetery, Lisburn.

In his sermon, Parish Priest Father David Delargy, said Diarmuid “was a real wee man’s man, relishing the rough and tumble, but also by nature, affectionate; quick to say ‘I love you’ and always happy to get cuddles from uncles and aunts”.

He said that Diarmuid’s family told him that “he spoke with his eyes”, adding that the traffic accident which claimed his life happened in a mere blink.
