Two school boys, both aged 12-years, were rescued from a ditch on Black Mountain in west Belfast.
Police received a report about the youngsters at around 3.15pm yesterday [Saturday].
A helicopter was then sent to Black Mountain to search for the boys.
The pair were located within 30 minutes of the call being received.
A PSNI spokesman said: “The helicopter landed a short distance away and a member of the aircraft crew rescued the boys from the ditch and assisted them to safety where they were then returned home by a local police patrol.
“The two boys were cold and wet but otherwise unharmed by their ordeal.”
