Three people from Co Antrim have been arrested by Organised Crime Branch as part of an investigation into alleged blackmail offences.
A 33-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in the Cloughmills area yesterday while a 36-year-old man was arrested in Ballymoney.
Police also seized a car for examination and searched a number of houses.
All three were being questioned at Coleraine PSNI station on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, police carrying out investigations into dissident republican terrorist activity have arrested a man in Belfast.
The 25-year-old was detained in the city on Thursday.
He has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station for questioning.
