Unionists burst into full-throated song at the news that Diane Dodds had secured a strong result in the Euro elections.

The DUP candidate secured more than 131,000 votes – far ahead of nearest unionist rivals the UUP, who won roughly 83,400.

She spoke to the News Letter about what the vote means to her, and the party.
