There was a stand-off between Orangemen and police in Belfast on Friday evening as a band and lodge attempted to make their return parade down Clifton Street.
The band had earlier broken a Parades Commission ruling preventing them from playing the Sash outside the Church.
Rev Mervyn Gibson however defended the band, saying the doors to the church were closed at the time.
When the band later attempted to return down Clifton Street towards Carrick Hill police moved across the road to stop them.
News Letter reporter Sam McBride, who was at the scene, said the band played music for 10 minutes before a few members spoke to some police officers.
