Young cyclist in hospital following collision in Doagh, Co Antrim

A 12-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after his bike was involved in a collision with a delivery vehicle.

The incident took place on the Ballyclare Road in Doagh around 1.50pm on Monday.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The Ballyclare Road, Doagh was closed in both directions from the Station Road to the cemetery but has now reopened.
